Congratulations again to Jeromy Herigstad, the winner of a 2009 Toyota Corolla from Wheeler Toyota and KLDR. Thanks to all the sponsors that made this possible. And a special thanks to everyone who encouraged all the Carvivors through showing up at the Wheeler Toyota lot, cheering them on during challenges, watching them through the live webcams (including one in a plane) and sending them messages through these blogs. We appreciate the participation of everyone.

Will Carvivor return next year? Stay tuned to KLDR 98.3 FM and KAJO 1270 AM in Grants Pass to find out.

Or maybe we’ll come up with something else just as exciting. Never know.

Drive safe.

Congratulations to Jeromy Herigstad, the winner of the 2009 Toyota Corolla in the Carvivor competition. Unfortunately Bea was disqualified as she kept some consumables (tea bags) in her personal bag. A few days before all consumables were supposed to be removed. So as the sole remaining Carvivor Jeromy gets to take home the car.

There will be a major announcement regarding the Carvivor competition at about 3PM PDT today. Our cameras will be there to cover it live. So be with us and tune in to Carvivor TV.

Health Haven was our challenge sponsor today. The Carvivors had to play the game of Operation, carefully removing parts from a cartoon body without touching the sides and making his nose light up. It was a good demonstration of why chiropractic should be considered before surgery. While they both made enough mistakes that I wouldn’t trust them with any surgical operation, Jeromy had the steadier hand. So he won a gift basket of nutritional items and chiropractic care from Health Haven. In a twist Bea also won a gift basket plus massage therapy. And in a large gesture of kindness Jeromy let Bea choose one thing from his basket.

Another Carvivor left the scene today. Call it mental fatigue, call it pure boredom. Justin was messing with the door handle when the door suddenly cracked open. As the Carvivors were told at the beginning, they are not permitted to open their own doors, at all, even a crack. Of course fellow Carvivor Jeromy was quick to alert the security person of this. So Justin now joins Kelli as a former Carvivor, leaving Bea and Jeromy in this final stretch.

As of 4PM this afternoon they will have been in the car the required minimum 21 days. So one more out and the car goes to the other.
